Round One: Brand Logo
Meh... Our logo is "OK" but it was something that was thrown together.
Practice your marketing skills by showing your vision of what our logo should look like!
Voting Begins February 13, 2015 at or around 2:13 PM Central Time.
Voting Ends February 18, 2015 at 11:59 PM Central Time.
Entries accepted  until February 17, 2015 at 11:59 PM Central Time.

Round Two: Mischief Characters + Brand Logo + "#5-15-15"
We have an ever-expanding cast of character ideas that we need artistic representations of for blog posts and other places around the site.  
Show us how well you can anthropomorphize 4-5 rats!  
Remember to include a logo* and "#5-15-15" somewhere in the entry so people know when and where to look for your winning design on the site!
Voting Begins March 15, 2015 at or around 3:15 PM Central Time.
Voting Ends March 19, 2015 at 11:59 PM Central Time.
Entries accepted until  March 18, 2015 at 11:59 PM Central Time.


Round Three: Final Integrated Site Art Design
Put it all together! Add a background! Become a part of the Mischief!
Voting Begins April 30, 2015 at or around 4:30 PM Central Time.
Voting Ends May 10, 2015 at 11:59 PM Central Time.
Entries accepted until May  9, 2015 at 11:59 PM Central Time.

Finalists will be interviewed individually during the voting period for round three.

Winner(s) will be announced and designs published on May 15, 2015.

*Original logos submitted in rounds two and three do not need to be identical to each other or to contestant's round one entry.

Contest Terms & Conditions

The Grand Prize winner will have their design proudly displayed and credited on our site and promotional materials for a period of 365 days.

We might do t-shirts also... we're not sure yet.

The real prize is recognition for all the hard work you put in, and your obvious dedication to your chosen craft.... Right?
We're just kidding....
We know you want the cash.

There are two Grand Prize options. The Contest winner must choose one of these options prior to 11:59PM Central Time on May 15, 2015.

Option 1:
Winner will be paid 5% of Gross Revenue for a period of 400 days.  If a minimum payout of $2500 has not been reached by the end of the 400 day period, the winner will continue to recieve 5% of gross revenue until the $2500 minimum has been paid out.

Option 2:
Winner will be paid 10% of gross revenue for a period of 400 days contingent on a 400 day/400 hour paid internship.  If a minimum payout of $5000 has not been reached by the end of the 400 day period, the winner will continue to recieve 10% of gross revenue until the $5000 minimum has been paid out.  Title: Chief Visual Consultant.

Finalists will be given details of the employment contract during the Round Three Interviews.

Winner will be given the opportunity to submit for consideration, updates and revisions to his/her design regardless of which prize option is chosen.

In the unlikely event of a deadlocked tie, we reserve the right to adjust prizes accordingly.


MallRats of America reserves the right to add prizes or awards for other entrants based on individual acheivement or any other criteria deemed applicable.  In fact, we probably will add some other prizes, but the Grand Prize was the only one that needed to be explained.
